  • It's my first class. What do I need to do?

    To book a class you can contact the studio or book into class via this website, or PunchPass. Please arrive to the studio 10 minutes before the class commences so the teacher can show you around and help you feel comfortable. We have bathrooms, reception area and a secure place to put your bag. All of our instructors are very friendly and even our members too! You will soon feel like family at The Hot Yoga Room.


    In preparation for your class we recommend:

    • Wear comfortable and light weight active wear (that you don't mind getting very sweaty)
    • Bring a large drink bottle, a yoga mat and a towel to place on top of your mat
    • Keep hydrated prior to class and try aviod eating a heavy meal 2 hours before
    • Remember to take the class at your own pace – there is no requirement to do every pose and you can always ask the teachers for modifications
  • Where are you located?

    Our studio is located at 4/174 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba. We are in the complex on the corner of Brisbane Rd and Amarina Avenue right in between 12Rnd and Define Property. You can park in the complex carpark, along Amarina Avenue or Brisbane Road.

  • Why infra-red heaters

    Our specialised infra-red heating system is the same products used by the medical industry to assist with muscle repair, increased blood flow, promote regeneration of cells and increased mobility and flexibility. 


    Our Hot Yoga classes allow your lymphatic system to move toxins out of the body more efficiently, improve skin, assists with improving fitness and toning and strengthening muscles.  Most importantly it will help calm your mind and reduce stress and anxiety.

  • Is there an age requirement?

    For the heated class we ask that all our students are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16 years old you will need to be accompanied by a Guardian.


    There is no age restrictions for the non-heated classes.

  • What if I have an injury or I am pregnant?

    Our teachers have experience instructing our students who may have injuries by giving assistance and modification for certain poses. Please make your instructor aware of any injuries you may have before every class so they can best assist you.


    If you are recovering from a serious injury, surgery or you are pregnant we recommend you seek your doctors permission before returning to hot yoga. 



  • What is your booking and cancellation policy?

    Bookings are essential for studio classes. We recommend booking via our PunchPass, or using this website to book classes. Please be considerate when booking classes and cancel your booking 60mins prior if you need to. Classes are limited to provide extra social distancing, we will have a waitlist if classes fill up. Waitlisted students will receive an email notification if a spot becomes available, please accept or decline the spot. Late cancellations and no-shows will inclure a $10 fee. 

  • What is your Covid safe protocol?

    • Please wash or sanitise hands on arrival at the studio.
    • Please make sure you are signed in when arriving at the studio.
    • Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and stay 1.5m apart where possible.
    • Bring your own mat and props.
    • Cleaning wipes will be supplied to clean your mat after class.
    • Studio surfaces will be cleaned between classes.

    Classes have been scheduled to allow at least 30mins between for cleaning. Please arrive close to the start time and exit the studio promptly after class.


    Please stay home if you are feeling unwell, have a cough, fever or sore throat.
